Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing a small amount of benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is used in medical settings as a diluent for certain medications and may help inhibit bacterial growth after repeated vial access when used according to product instructions. It is not suitable for every medication or route of administration.
